Step 4: Outline the Neck

Commencing with a circular base, create an elongated neck by drawing two angled lines that are lean and extended. The neck should end with a width larger than its beginning.
Proceed to draw a diamond-shaped figure with rounded corners right at the end of the neck. This will serve as the foundational point for forming the chest and front legs.

Having completed the diamond, sketch the front legs by attaching a slender rectangle to the bottom of the diamond, followed by a circle, another rectangle, and eventually trapezoidal hooves.

Next, utilizing the lower section of the diamond as a starting point, draw a curved and rotund shape for the stomach. End this area with a relatively big, oval figure that runs parallel to the diamond.
To complete the body, draw a steeply sloped back and a lengthy tail that culminates in a delightful tuft.
Finally, proceed by drawing the hind legs. Bend them slightly, and don't forget to add two circles at the end before sketching the hooves. Similar to horses, these legs are made up of complex mechanisms that allow them to move in unique ways.

Step 10: Depict the Giraffe's Horns and Ear

To create the distinguishing features of the giraffe, draw two curved, rounded horns on the very top of its head. Then, create a large triangular ear, resembling a triangle, where the head intersects with the neck.

Continuing to include specifics within the giraffe's face, add a large almond-shaped eye beneath the horns and to the right of the ear. Furthermore, provide more reinforcement to the snout by giving it a pronounced upper lip, as well as a round chin. Finally, draw a nostril over the mouth.

When the face is finished, sketch along the giraffe's neck, creating a long mane.
Step 12: Remove the Guidelines

Clean up and eliminate any unneeded guidelines and pencil marks, reviewing your sketch to make sure the proportions of the giraffe match your satisfaction before proceeding to the next stage.
Step 13: Introduce the Giraffe's Pattern

Now that the giraffe's body has been fully illustrated, it is time to produce the recognizable pattern. While it may appear complicated, it is relatively simple to accomplish once you initiate the process. Begin by drawing wavy rectangular shapes all over the giraffe's body, with the spots gradually decreasing in size as you go down the legs towards the face. The stomach is predominantly blank with very few spots.

Step 14: Finalize the Drawing in Ink

Ink in the drawing once it is completed to give it a finished look.
Now, it's finally the moment to take your final masterpiece to the next level by inking it in your preferred pen. Take your time to trace over the lines on your piece, making sure not to smudge the ink. Once you've gone over every inch of your drawing, be sure to give it some time to dry before erasing any remaining pencil marks that could detract from the final result.

Once you finish inking, you can either leave your illustration as stunning black and white artwork or add some color for an added pop.
